AreYouSecured.tech provides cybersecurity scanning tools — including the Deep Security Check and Account Takeover Risk Report — solely for legitimate, authorised security assessment. This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines the permitted and prohibited uses of our platform.

2. Permitted Uses

You may use our tools only when:

You are scanning your own domain, email address, or username
You have explicit written authorisation from the domain or account owner
The purpose is legitimate security improvement, vulnerability assessment, or compliance
You are a security professional conducting authorised penetration testing or OSINT research

3. Prohibited Uses

The following uses are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination and legal action:

Scanning another individual’s email, username, or domain without their knowledge or consent
Harassment, stalking, doxxing, or impersonation of any person
Using scan results to facilitate blackmail, fraud, or social engineering attacks
Automated bulk scanning or abuse of rate limits
Any use that violates applicable local, national, or international law
Reselling or redistributing reports without authorisation

4. Data & Privacy

All data processed by our scanners is sourced from publicly available OSINT (open-source intelligence). We do not access private accounts, breach databases, or any data that requires authentication. No scan data is sold or shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

5. False Positives & Accuracy

Our tools perform automated checks against public data sources. Results may include false positives — especially for common usernames that appear across unrelated accounts. Reports are provided as a starting point for investigation, not as definitive proof of identity or ownership. Users are responsible for verifying findings before taking action.

6. Enforcement

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel reports, and report suspected misuse to relevant authorities. By purchasing or using any of our services you agree to this AUP in full.
